GBU Contacts
Our Code of Conduct and Business Principles sets out our legal and ethical principles for carrying out business and applies both to employees and to others who act for us. It is a summary of our business principles, and gives you the information you need so you can manage your daily activities.
Acting with honesty is more than just keeping to the law. Those who deal with us should also expect that we will meet accepted ethical standards. We should always behave ethically even in situations where the law is unclear or is still developing.
You must keep to the Code of Conduct and Business Principles and any related procedures. Nothing should ever affect our commitment to honesty.
We all count on each other to uphold these standards to make sure that we keep our reputation for honesty. If you are unsure what you should do to be compliant please discuss this with your manager or a member of the compliance team.
For purposes of the Smith & Nephew Code of Conduct and related GSOPs, where Local Compliance Officers are designated as the individuals responsible for compliance in the relevant country, region or GBU, the following is a list of all authorized Local Compliance Officers within Smith & Nephew. Individuals not on this list, but who are performing compliance-related activities, do not have authority to act as a Local Compliance Officer, but may be utilized as a country-specific or GBU-specific resource under the guidance and direction of a Local Compliance Officer. If a country is not covered by the attached list, please contact Lori Reber directly.
