Approved Consultants are defined as consultants that have been approved by the Arrangements Committee as required by this Procedure.  Approved Consultants need only be approved one time, but in doing so the GBU must assess all of the event types and product families for which the HCP is qualified to provide services for that GBU.

Approver means the individual(s) responsible for authorising a new or revised document. GECC primarily fulfills this role.

Arrangements means every arrangement or transaction entered into in connection with the Company’s business that involves, directly or indirectly, the offer or payment of anything of value to a Healthcare Professional with regard to Consulting Services, Donations or Grants.

Arrangements Committee means a committee established within a GBU with responsibility for overseeing the needs assessment for the GBU and arrangements between the GBU and HCPs.  It will include the GBU Compliance Officer and other leaders of the GBU, as appropriate.
